I enjoyed this one and loved learning about the Japanese name for it … kinda surprised the Germans don’t have a word since they seem to have one for everything!

So true. Japanese and German languages seem to have such great, expressive words for the feels we feel.

Enjoyed this. Really great. I don’t know anyone, other than Ken Burns and possibly PBS who has an affinity with the dust bowl. The photography from that time is devastating and haunting. The multiverse is an interesting concept, I’ve noticed Hollywood investing into those stories, especially Marvel.

Indeed. Dr. Strange is a good one on this topic

Yes! Also, The endgame, Antman (quantum time travel), as well as a different genre, Oscar winning Everything Everywhere All at Once.

I’ve experienced so many instances of this— obsessed with the Titanic as a kid. Started collecting antique shoes and clothing when I was a preteen. Drape me in army surplus, pockets and zippers everywhere. If it comes in a triangular tribal pattern I’ll probably want it. My friend watched in amazement as while I strolled Baldwin in Paia, every. single. stranger. greeted me as if we were lifelong friends. Man, do I ever love these little signposts that point me back to myself over time. 🖤
